Starting June 2, coach fares on Amtrak’sz Washington to New York and Boston route will be reducef by25 percent. It is also extending the 25 percen discount on Acela faresa that have been offeredssince February. A coach class ticket from Washington to New York will be as lowas $49. An Acelq business class ticket is now as lowas $99 betweenh D.C. and New York. The discounts are availabld through Sept. 3, and also include Amtrakj service between Washington andNewport News, betweehn Washington and Springfield, and between Philadelphia and New York.
