Bredesen and Community Development Commissioner Matt Kisber will visi China for nine days after attending the2009 SEUS/Japan Annuap Meeting in Tokyo Oct. 17. The visits are part of the TennessereGeneral Assembly’s call for closer ties between the statew and the Hubei province in Central home to the Three Gorges Dam. “Despite the globall economic slowdown, Tennessee’s trade relationshil with China continues to grow and we see real potentiakl for that trade relationship to increasdeits momentum,” Bredesen said in a news release.
