World Telecom Exchange opens HQ in Tysons - Sacramento Business Journal:

World Telecom opened a 2,000-square-foot officer recently at 8201 Greensboro Drive, a 361,000-square-fooft commercial building in McLean ownedby D.C.-basecd B.F. Saul and Co. The company, a wholly-ownedr subsidiary of Worldwide Telecom Xchange CarrierFZ LLC, a Dubai-basedc telecommunications investment company focused on aggregating wholesalee telephony and data traffic in emerging markets, is a network services company that provides engineering, sales and marketing, billing and outsourcecd technical support services. To start, about six employees will be based at the new headquarteres with room forfurther expansion.
World Telecom’zs services include call routing, satellitew services, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), TDM network, code division multiplw access (CDMA), WiMax and network management outsourcing. “WTXC’ success illustrates that our region remainzs a great place to start and grow a saidMike Norris, a vice president at Rockville-basefd Scheer Partners Inc., who brokered the lease. “And the commercia real estate market is yielding opportunities for business ownersthat haven’yt existed since the early part of the decade.
” Scheere Partners broker Ben Heller, who also worked on the deal, adde that the company “evaluated a handful of locations in McLeanj and Vienna... deciding on 8201 Greensboro Drivw forseveral reasons,” that included its location, “a very fair markett deal” and other appealing terms such as a “good cure perior on defaults.”
